Review for newly revised version.
As people who read my previous review will know, I really
enjoyed this book. From the main protagonist, the dark load who I really liked
(Wicked as he is) to William who I wanted to marry.
This time around my feeling on some of the characters
changed. Elizabeth, Renee’s mother bugged me with her over protectiveness, but
I can understand why she is the way she is. Renee was still awesome and I
wanted to be just like her. The Dark Lord is now the one I want to Marry! and
William is just soooo sweet (not to mention gorgeous.) but he’s not my dream
guy in this novel anymore. I love dark evil lords, they are like a magnet for
me.
The book reads slightly different now and that is a good
thing. The writing is a lot smoother, it flows better and you can tell Zoey
Sweete is growing as an author. The extra TLC that went into the revision of
this novel is what’s made me put this up from the original 4 stars, to 5.
