Mind Games by Carolyn Crane – Review by Lindsay

5 Stars

This book actually gets 10 stars from me and is one of my favourite books of all time. In fact it is in my top 3! I started reading this last year... yes that’s right, last year. But I put the book down and refused to read anymore until all three were out. Now I finally have them, I’ve been able to re-enter the story world I love so much.

Justine Jones is a classic hypochondriac and is convince she is going to die any second. That is until she meets Packard and his group. Each are able to push their fears or problems on to others by... well actually I’m not telling you. The problem I have here is that I could go on and on and on about this book and it would ruin it for other readers. Carolyn Cranes writing style is new to me and I must say I really like it. She’s descriptive but not to the point where you cannot use your imagination. The flow of the story is perfect, the length is perfect. The ideas in the book are fantastic. The characters are Amazing! I love Justine, she’s awesome. I also really wanna marry Packard. I just love him!  Basically, for me, this IS the perfect book!

If you want a fascinating read, 3 dimensional characters to fall in love with, great settings and a whirlwind adventure, this is the book for you. I can’t wait to start book two, but sadly I have other reviews I need to do first.

Carolyn Crane deserves an award for such an amazing and original storyline. She is certainly one of my favourite authors.
